Estefania Herrera, a senior at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School and a member of the swim team, is missing. She is eighteen years old. Since Saturday, October 17, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois, she has not been seen.
She is characterized as being 200 pounds, 5'4" tall, with light brown skin, brown eyes, and brown hair.
When she was last seen, she was carrying two backpacks, one blue and one red, and was dressed in pants and a black and white checkered fleece top.
She was last seen getting on the CTA southbound to McAuley for her swim event at Archer & Pulaski. She never showed up.
According to the family's request, anybody who would like to participate in prayer for Estefania and her loved ones is welcome to attend a community prayer vigil on Thursday, October 23, at 5:30 p.m. at Nativity of Our Lord (653 W. 37th St.).
Throughout the school day, students, faculty, and staff will join together in a focused intercessory prayer, holding her and her family near and dear to their hearts.
