The goal of the GoFundMe, which was established to help the Mills family ever since their daughter Kimber Mills was admitted to the UAB Hospital, is $50,000, and it has already surpassed $20,000. Following the announcement on Tuesday, October 21, that Kimber had died from her injuries, more donations are still being made.
You are being asked to help Kimber Mills and her family through this trying time. She is the 18-year-old cheerleader from the high school who was shot in Jefferson County on Sunday, October 18.
At the time this piece was written, over 390 people had donated, with $1000 being the top donation.
Kimber experienced a tragedy that no one should have to go through while she was a senior at Cleveland High School. Her neighborhood, school, friends, and family all adore her, and her family are in need of their love, support, and prayers.
Family members, relatives, and medical professionals gathered in the UAB Hospital hallways on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, to pay tribute to Kimber Mills and her organ donation.
Her relatives claim that she was admitted to the hospital after sustaining "too much trauma" to her head, which needed to be fixed surgically. Regretfully, she did not survive.
Her family would greatly appreciate your assistance at this difficult time; she will be greatly missed. On their path to rehabilitation, nothing is too modest because it would make a big difference.
Kimber and her family will receive all of the money raised. Any further information about Kimber's funeral would be made to the public.
