Kimber Mills Passed Away Sever Shooting Injury Tuesday, October 21

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, family members, friends, and medical personnel gathered in the hallways of UAB Hospital to honor Kimber Mills, an 18-year-old high school girl who was shot on Sunday, October 18, in Jefferson County, for her organ donation.

Kimber Mills, an 18-year-old cheerleader, passed away at 7:08 p.m., leaving her loved ones in sorrow and suffering. After a fight at a party, Mills was caught in the crossfire and shot in the head over the weekend.

According to her relatives, she was admitted to the hospital after suffering "too much trauma" to her head, which required surgery to fix.

They claimed that her honor walk was the biggest one the doctor had ever witnessed. It demonstrates the extent of Kimber's love prior to her shooting death at a festive campfire.

There were prayers on the hospital grounds, and hundreds of people could be heard sobbing quietly and muttering her name in pain.

Ashley, her sister, claimed that she clasped Kimber's hand one final time before bidding her farewell, a moment that will always be etched in her memory.

Mills who previously encouraged others, is now bringing hope to people she may never meet through her organ donation.

Those who had the chance to spend time with her will miss her terribly.

When confirmed, more information will be released; in the meantime, keep her family in mind.
