After being arrested on suspicion of child assault, he reportedly passed away while in police custody.

In addition to being the creator and writer of Call Path, he was formerly a corporate communicators strategist for Wells Fargo. Additionally, he served as the National Urban League Young Professionals' previous chair for national communications.
At Queens University of Charlotte, he pursued an MBA. attended Pittsburgh Theological Seminary to study divinity as an academic subject. He attended Norfolk State University to study English as well.
