Melanie Nadler Litt, a 52-year-old dentist from Marietta, Georgia, whose abrupt disappearance earlier this week grabbed the notice of friends and the Cobb County Police Department, was discovered safe and sound, the public was informed on Sunday, October 19.
Dr. Melanie's disappearance left her family and friends in a state of desperation.
Marietta, Georgia, became aware of the search for her on Tuesday morning, October 14, after failing to show up for work at Family Dentistry at Seven Hills in Dallas, Georgia after working at another dentist practice in Marietta the day before.
Her cell phone was inside her Marietta house when police performed a welfare check, but they couldn't find her or her car. Her car was later found abandoned behind a business off Barrett Parkway by investigators.
Since her disappearance is totally out of character for someone who is known for her professionalism, friendliness, and dependability, her loved ones and friends were immediately alerted to the news.
She is a fantastic mother and a nice person. Many people were concerned for her safety and her family when she vanished.
Dr. Nadler Litt finished her residency at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Jersey after graduating first in her class from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1999. She is a member of the Northwestern District Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association. She has resided in Marietta since 2004.
Families and friends are grateful for everyone's efforts during the hunt for her, since she has been located safely.
The Cobb County Police Department is urged to be contacted by anyone with more information.
