There are rumors going throughout the hip-hop scene and on the internet that Lil Poppa, a 25-year-old rapper from Jacksonville, Florida, has supposedly died. Lil Poppa's death was announced on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
As of yet, no formal confirmation has been made.
Although an online post claims that he committed suicide, no official announcement has been made as the inquiry is still underway.
"Mental health is serious and not talked about enough" a fan said on Facebook.
Lil Poppa, who is well-known for his catchy pain-rapping and honest narrative, amassed a devoted following by releasing poignant music that captured the hardships of both personal and street life.
