The Polk family's friends and family are growing anxious as the mystery surrounding the disappearance of 88-year-old Ms. Myrtle Polk draws near. Since June 2024, she has not been seen.
Her 2004 black Lexus ES 330 vanished along with her, and it hasn't been seen since.
The complaints started on Tuesday night, November 4, 2025, when officers found Myrtle Polk's vehicle close to 5 Mile Creek in Dallas.
Myrtle's whereabouts have not yet been disclosed by Dallas police. The area was still being investigated by officers from the Mounted Unit, South Central Patrol, UAS teams, and Mark K9 Search & Rescue.
Myrtle had memory issues, according to family members, which raised concerns that she might have lost her way and become confused.
Two days after she vanished, a Silver Alert was issued, and the neighborhood has been looking for her ever since. They have posted posters, checked doorbell cameras, and shared her tale online.
The family is incredibly appreciative of the love, support, and care they continue to receive. "This is still ongoing, but there is a little more clarity now.
After the car was found on Tuesday night, detectives are likely to provide more information. As soon as a new update is verified, it will be posted.
