Charles Hosch, a 67-year-old man, has gone missing. According to Charles' daughter, her father went hiking on Blood Mountain and hasn't been seen or heard from since. His family is concerned about his current condition and is pleading with the public to help them in any way they can.
According to his family he has been since Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Byron Herbert Reece Trailhead in Blairsville, Georgia.
When he was last seen, he was dressed in a dark green jacket, khaki slacks, and a camel-colored pullover.
The Union County Sheriff's Office at this moment not looking for volunteers but have enlisted 'seasoned' hikers already on the path to join public safety in the hunt for Charles.
Please report Charles to the police if you see him near or on the Appalachian Trail or the Mountain Crossing Store on the 11th.
