Joshua Strozier, a native of Cottondale, Alabama, has died, according to posts on several social media sites. He passed away following a fatal car accident, the news was released on Thursday, November 13.
Joshua Strozier, 26, was driving west on Alabama Highway 20 on Wednesday, November 12, when his Silverado collided with a big farm combine.
At 1:12 p.m., Joshua's 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup and the 2017 John Deere S690 Combine driven by Brandon D. Bruce, 37, of Florence, hit head-on, taking the dear life of Joshua.
When the collision occurred, Strozier was not wearing his seat belt. Joshua could not be revived despite the prompt arrival of rescue services. The operator of the combine was unhurt.
According to police, Joshua was declared dead at the spot.
Joshua was adored by friends and family and was well-known for his ambition and compassion. People around him were deeply impacted by his generosity and joy.
The community in Florence and Tuscaloosa is in shock and grief as a result of the disaster. Investigators are evaluating the collision, paying particular attention to eyewitness accounts, car characteristics, and road conditions.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue are also investigating.
