Missing Woman, Tomis Hoyt Identified as remains found in Blaine ME

Tomis Hoyt, 36, of the Presque Isle region, has been identified as the person whose body was discovered in Blaine on October 30, 2025. On Wednesday, November 12, the Augusta Office of Chief Medical Examiner verified it.


 


The reason of Tomis Hoyt's death has not yet been determined because the inquiry is still under progress. Family members are awaiting information and will provide updates as soon as they are available.


"There are no words big enough for this kind of pain. My heart is shattered. For months, I’ve held on to hope, prayed for a different ending — but today, that hope is gone, and all that remains is grief." Tomis sister said in a post.


On July 13, 2025, Tomis vanished from Robinson Road in Mars Hill, which is adjacent to Blaine. She is thought to have been barefoot when she vanished, according to reports.


 


Tomis, a mother of two children will be missed sincerely but never be forgotten. Everyone who loved her will always remember her personality, fun, and heart.


Once verified, Tomis Hoyt's funeral plans will be posted.
