Grandmaster and Streamer Daniel Naroditsky has Died - October 20

 


Daniel Naroditsky, a chess grandmaster and streamer, unfortunately died at the age of 29. Fans and players worldwide appreciated and regarded him as a chearish member of the chess community and as a gifted chess player, commentator, and educator.


The Charlotte Chess Center announced the news of his death on Monday, October 20. The gifted American grandmaster was a well-liked commentator and an active online player and streamer.

 

Daniel was a chess prodigy from California, Daniel won the World Youth Championship (U12) in 2007 and became a Grandmaster at 18. Over the years, he earned global respect as a player, coach, commentator, and streamer, known for his calm insight and love for teaching the game.


He was a well-known chess content provider, and his YouTube channel is a goldmine of instructional chess information. He exemplified this attitude throughout his career, helping many people find their love for chess and attaining incredible success at a young age.


His death comes as a huge shock to the Chess community, and he will be missed dearly. He would have turned 30 on 9th November before meeting his sad end.

 

Everyone who knew Danya, from pupils to other competitors, was inspired by his skill, inventiveness, and passion for chess. In addition to his outstanding skills, he will be remembered for his enthusiasm for imparting his expertise to the thousands of readers and admirers.
