On the evening of May 21, 2026, Lorenzo Lemalu, a 24-year-old top commander of the Coconut Cartel, a criminal organization with its headquarters in Sydney, Australia, was shot and killed outside a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Two men were reported dead following the fatal gunshot.
The incident took place in front of the Royal Seafood Restaurant on Ly Tu Trong Street in District 1 on Friday evening, May 22.
After executing the crime, two Australian suspects escaped toward Tay Ninh in a cab, possibly in an attempt to use a remote pass to cross the border.
Sauni Sam, also known as White Justin John, and Lang Kenny Trong Minh Do (1993) are two suspects who are also citizens of Australia.
The two male victims are huge, muscular, foreigners of unknown nationality. Whether or whether this was a gang settling scores is unknown.
Residents in the Tay Ninh area are advised by the police to use caution while approaching these hazardous individuals; if you have any more information, please send it right away to OHG for updates.
