By the time Kyle Loftis passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2026, 1320Video, an Omaha-based platform he started from scratch in 2003, had amassed close to 4 million YouTube users. He is a pioneer in internet coverage of drag racing and the CEO and founder of 1320video. Millions and millions of people were learning about the camaraderie of racing thanks to his well-known YouTube channel.
Kyle created the full contemporary setting in addition to filming racing. He brought grassroots automobiles to the attention of the world and helped establish celebrities like Cleetus McFarland. Nobody was expecting such news, and the motorsports community is shocked.
The community is still grieving over his enormous loss. The game was altered by Kyle and 1320. creating a chance when none previously existed. Kyle is no longer with us, but his legacy will endure for future generations of motor fans.
