He was reportedly hit by an off-highway motorcycle on April 16 while walking home from Toledo Way and Ridge Route Drive near El Toro High School. The motorcycle was apparently piloted by a 14-year-old who was later taken into custody.
The 14-year-old youngster hit him and left the scene while riding a Surron Ultra Bee e-motorcycle, allegedly while doing wheelies.
The powerful bike, which has a top speed of 58 mph, was being driven without the necessary insurance, license, or registration.
