The most current search for Molly Miller and Colt Haynes' 2013 disappearances has turned up two sets of human remains, pending DNA confirmation.
Following a search that began on February 17, 2026, the remains were discovered in Love County, Oklahoma, close to Longhollow Road and Pike Road.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs Missing and Murdered Unit and the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department spearheaded the hunt. Teams concentrated on a previously unsearched rural area in Love County on February 18 between Oswalt Road, Pike Road, and Long Hollow Road.
They discovered the two sets of human remains during that procedure. Based on the data, leads, and evidence that investigators had at the time, previous search regions were determined.
The current effort in this recently discovered region resulted from the expansion of search parameters when fresh information about the investigation surfaced and landowner support was secured.
No prior search had been conducted at the site where the remains were discovered on February 18. The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Evidence Response Team gathered the remains for identification and forensic examination.
A comprehensive forensic procedure will be necessary to identify the remains and ascertain the cause and manner of death.
For 13 years, the relatives of the two missing persons have been frantically looking for them.
In 2013, Molly and Haynes were both in a car that was being pursued by the police. The driver, who is still alive today, claims he has no idea what transpired that evening.
This is a significant development in the inquiry, but the public still has to wait for the medical examiner's office to authenticate the identities.
The family is in close communication with the authorities, and the Miller and Haynes family is in the prayers and minds of all the detectives working on the case.
This inquiry is still ongoing. Investigators are still following up on leads, assessing the evidence, and organizing their work.
It is recommended that anyone with information about this investigation call the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department at (580) 436-1166.
