15-year-old Myrtle Beach, South Carolina resident Ava Holland Dies in Car Accident

The public was made aware of the death of 15-year-old Myrtle Beach, South Carolina resident Ava Holland through the Myrtle Beach High School Facebook page. She was a lovely person who was taking too much time away from her loved ones. After suffering terrible injuries in a deadly vehicle accident, Ava passed away.

While traveling to school on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, their beloved Ava suffered severe injuries in a horrific car accident.

After receiving treatment at Grand Strand Hospital, she was taken to MUSC's pediatric intensive care unit in Charleston, where her family has been by her side ever since. Ava's head pressure became too much for her to handle, even with the best efforts of her medical team and the prayers of her loved ones.

Ava and her family have bravely and selflessly chosen to donate her organs in the face of unfathomable loss, enabling her life to continue through the lives of others, perhaps saving up to eight more. Ava is delivering the gift of hope even in her last moments.

Ava was a cherished member of the Coast United volleyball team and a sophomore at Atlantic Collegiate Academy. She is a bright presence to everyone who knows her, a loyal friend, and a dedicated teammate. Many people will miss her terribly.

To lessen the financial strain on Ava's family during this time, a GoFundMe has been established. The money received will cover Ava's burial costs as well as the financial strain brought on by her parents' time away from work, allowing them to concentrate on spending more time together, helping their kids, and paying respect to Ava's life without having to worry about anything else.

Any donation, no matter how modest, would make a big difference.

Once confirmed, more details about her funeral will be released to the public.
