On Friday, November 14, 2025, the body of Kaniah Jennings, 18, of Portageville, in rural Pemiscot County, Missouri, was discovered by Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) investigators.
According to Kaniah Jennings' father, she was reported missing on Monday, November 3, 2025.
According to the authorities, Blake Patrick, Kennan Peoples, and Donald Peoples Jr. are three people of interest in the ongoing investigation into Jennings' death.
Eighteen-year-old Blake Patrick of East Prairie, who was detained in Arkansas the day after Jennings vanished, is regarded as a person of interest in the case, according to MSHP Sgt. Brad Germann.
Patrick is currently accused of felony theft and tampering with a stolen car. In addition to having an active order of protection against him and a history of abusing women.
Additionally, two brothers, Donald Peoples Jr., 38, and Keenan Peoples, 34, have been arrested. In a criminal inquiry, both are accused of tampering with tangible evidence.
Kaniah's friends and teachers at Portageville High School are devastated, according to the school. Her family is still in shock over the terrible news that nobody anticipated.
