The victim, named by family members as 18-year-old Anna Kepner of Titusville, Florida, passed away while aboard the Carnival Horizon, a cruise ship that sailed from Miami to the Caribbean, according to the FBI.
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Anna's body was found. There is no proof linking Anna Kepner's demise to any race or demographic group, including baseless allegations regarding "basketballians."
Although Carnival reports greater crime rates than its rivals based on FBI passenger statistics, the FBI is still looking into this incident; no homicide has been verified, and no suspects have been found.
