Ashlee Buzzard, the mother of missing 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard is being investigated

 


In an apparent attempt to evade notice, Ashlee Buzzard, the mother of missing 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard, allegedly altered license plates on their road trip, according to officials as they focus on the time frame the young girl vanished.


 


According to the Sheriff's Office, there is proof that Buzzard altered the license plate on the vehicle she rented for her road trip on October 8.


Ashlee Buzzard has refused to provide any information regarding Melodee's welfare or whereabouts.


Melodee was last seen on October 9, according to video footage from the Utah-Colorado border area, according to the Sheriff's Office.


According to them, Buzzard leased a car in Lompoc, went to the Nebraska region with Melodee, and then came back to Lompoc by alone.


 


Melodee weighs about sixty pounds and stands about four feet six inches tall. She has brown eyes and curly brown hair. ⁠


After a school system official reported Melodee's prolonged absence from school, the Sheriff's Office stated it began looking into her disappearance approximately three weeks ago.


As the investigation into Melodee Buzzard's disappearance continues, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office continues to provide additional information.
