The circumstances surrounding the death of 18-year-old Anna Kepner of Titusville, Florida, who was discovered dead on a Carnival Horizon cruise ship over the weekend are being looked into by the FBI's Miami field office.
While the ship was still at sea on Saturday, November 8th, the news was announced. On Saturday morning, law authorities boarded the ship to conduct an investigation after it had returned to port in Miami.
Her death's precise circumstances are still unknown. Her cause of death has been the subject of numerous speculations, but authorities have not yet verified any of them.
Since Anna's death was unexpected, her family and the community are grieving greatly. Nobody ever expected it.
She was a straight-A student in her senior year of high school in Titusville, Florida, with a promising future.
Anna was involved in sports, according to her family. She joined the varsity cheerleading squad at her high school after starting gymnastics at the age of two.
As a teenager, she obtained a boater's license and a scuba diving certification since she liked the water. She will be sorely missed.
Whether foul play is involved has not been disclosed by the FBI. According to statements, the FBI's Miami field office is working with Carnival Cruise Line and corporate representatives.
The investigators were spotted taking the body and transferring her into the Miami-Dade Medical Examiners office van when the ship, carrying about 4,000 passengers, returned to the port of Miami on time.
The investigation is now underway, and it will be made public whenever additional information is available. If you have any information, be sure to get in touch with the authorities.
