Sara Nix, Bradley AR native dies in car accident with Daughter

 


Sara Nix, a beloved director of the Cullen Baker Pageant and a native of Bradley, Arkansas, died unexpectedly on Thursday evening, October 16, 2025, in a horrific car accident with her daughter Raylea.

 

The news has drawn the attention of friends and the Cullen Baker Pageant community. Many people were affected by Sara and Raylea's love and light, and they will always carry their memory close to their hearts.


The committee has decided to cancel the upcoming 2025 Cullen Baker Pageant in light of this devastating death. Everyone impacted by this loss needs time to process and decide what to do next, so they beg for your patience and understanding as they don't know when the next fixture will be.


From judging and directing to becoming Raylea's most loyal pageant mother, Sara had a genuine passion for everything pageantry.

 

She works as a labor and delivery registered nurse at Christus St. Michael. in the University of Arkansas Community College in Hope, she pursued a nursing degree. Everyone who had the chance to meet her also adored her.
