Aiden Ha, a 7-year-old nonverbal autistic kid, was found dead in the Susquehanna River on Sunday afternoon, October 5, 2025, after straying between thirty and one hundred yards from his home on Old Berwick Road.
Aiden was last seen Saturday morning, October 4, in Scott Township, Pennsylvania.
According to Scott Township Police Department Chief Joe Grassley, K-9 units tracked his scent all the way to the water, and five different alarms drove search workers to the river.
Aiden's body was located around 12:15 p.m. on Sunday during a low-altitude scan by a Pennsylvania State Police aircraft from Harrisburg.
It was recovered by the Philadelphia State Police Marine Unit about 12:30 p.m., about 0.5 miles south of Aiden's home.
